Bridging Industrial and Natural Design in Kirimaya

Situated within the hills of Khao Yai’s Kirimaya estate, this kitchen embodies sophisticated, contemporary design. Large windows invite the surrounding natural beauty indoors, complementing the organic warmth of the wood accents.

Blending both form and function, German Kitchen Design created a space that reflects the refined living experience offered by Kirimaya.

Project Concept

Overview

Bringing together urban sophistication and rustic charm, this kitchen project was designed to complement Kirimaya’s lush greenery. The combination of concrete-inspired and wood-textured cabinetry comes together to create a contemporary, inviting atmosphere.

Designed with a built-in tall unit and a pocket door that leads to an intentional coffee making area, this kitchen space features carefully selected materials in a unique design that enhances both function and style.

Specifications

Location Kirimaya, Khao Yai.

Fronts Designed with the notion of bringing the space’s outdoor environment within, STRUCTURA’s Sierra oak reproduction fronts set a warm and natural warmth as the foundation, representing the area’s mountainous forests. Paired with RIVA in concrete terra gray reproduction, the lofty yet industrial feel of a contemporary, chic space is established, complemented further by the two-tone wood-grain countertop.

Worktop TM Marble Black India Fire Sprayed & Brushed is a dark, textured worktop that adds both depth and boldness to the space, heightened further when paired with Sapienstone Rovere Baio Natural Porcelain, a lighter porcelain surface that offers complementary colors as well as great practicality and aesthetic textures.

Backsplash The Sapienstone Rovere Baio Natural Porcelain worktop spills into the backsplash as well, cementing the lighter wood textures as the dominant color. Contrasted with the dark marble worktop as well as the concrete gray reproduction fronts, a beautiful exemplification of urban design amongst nature’s wilderness is achieved.
